Last April, Ajis pay us a visit lagi. kebetulan Ash pun around and it was his minggu hari jadi. We were invited to a 'fine dining' dinner at Mandarin Grill, Mandarin Oriental. Bern and Rudie also were there. Lama giler aku tak have night out. Nasib baik aku dah naik berat badan sebab aku dah boleh pakai one dress that i never wear before. Agak pelik, tapi aku rasa i pulled it off! ceh..!
anyway, this is not the first time aku fine dining. Dulu masa aku kerja kat Hilton, ada try fine dining, coz it was part of our course. to experience the product, and also aku pernah di jemput oleh the CEO of the gym i've worked in long time ago to have an appreciation dinner, pun fine dining jugak. So aku tak lah kekok sangat, sebabnya one thing about me, i dont really care about the table ethical as long as the people i eat with pun kepala selamba. Cuma sakit sikit bila nak order makanan. Thank god, bosses aku sporting masa tuh, dorang yang recommend food to me. :D
sambung balik cerita, aku and ash sampai lambat, sebab aku sibuk jer nak gi blow dry rambut. sekali sekala nak melawa apa salah nye, ye tak? Dinner at 8p,m tapi kami sampai around 9pm. Biasalah, melayu kan. Poor thing, Ajis, Bern and rudie, masih belom order anything, so bila kami sampai semua start membaca menu. Bila aku tengok menu, satu benda pun aku tak faham, of course ada description lah, tapi aku still rasa cam pening nak order, last last aku ambik senang aku order ikan. salmon was my choice. so did ash. dia order jer apa yang aku order. Sebelum my main course sampai, macam macam makanan kecik yang singgah kat meja kitaorang. ada yang complimentary ada yang come with the dish yang kami ordered. Yang paling pelik was Bern's appetizer, something yellowish liquid served in a shot glass. good luck, Bern! :-D
In the middle of our dinner i got a call from my mother. My mother said, that Iman was crying from the moment we stepped out the door, until now. from the mother's voice i knew that she was panicked. Apart of me rasa frustrated and another part of me rasa menyesal sebab keluar. My mother not really good with children and maybe that's why Iman menangis tak henti henti. After few minutes after the 1st call, my mother call lagi, saying that Iman fall asleep dalam keadaan sedih, so i told Ajis and friends, aku tak leh lepak lama, maybe around 1 dah kene balik. Sekali lagi, aku frust giler. But oh well, ...this the life that i chose. i grew up!

Lepas dinner kami sempat singgah ke Sultan Lounge. My first time and probably my last. Kat sini aku lebih kekok daripada berada dalam fine dining restaurant. The interior classy sangat sampai aku nak jalan or duduk pun kene maintain. dah memang sign untuk aku give up my night life, the dj played hip hop. After one drink kami balik.
On the way balik aku and ash terserempak dengan accident yang agak weird. Kereta nih macam kene campak daripada atas langit, only god knows apa yang telah terjadi dan apa jadi dengan pemandunya.
Bila sampai kat rumah Iman terbangun bila kami buka pintu. Memang dia tunggu.
Macam mana nak keluar malam kalau macam nih? memang tak lah kot!
